The GPFL club launch is the most important milestone, so far, for the GPFL.
So…here they are. The 20 inaugural GPFL clubs! We are proud to reveal the names and logos of the clubs that will take part in the very first season of this new global phenomenon.
“We have been sitting on this while a certain other football event has played out in Qatar,” said GPFL founder, Dwayne Barlow. “After all, we hope the GPFL will be known as an organisation of great global citizens, so we didn’t want overshadow the FIFA World Cup.
“But now, we can let the GPFL of the leash. I’m so pleased to reveal our clubs at our official GPFL club launch. I hope fans in our host cities are excited as I am, now they know the name of the clubs they’ll be watching.
“Fingers crossed fans will be happy with the names and logos of their teams. Now they can help build a local identity as their club begins to take on the world.”

- Eternal Roma (Rome, Italy).
- Harbour City (Sydney, Australia).
- Hong Kong Traders (Hong Kong, China).
- Johannesburg Rush (Johannesburg, South Africa).
- LA Icons (Los Angeles, USA).
- London City FC (London, UK).
- Marina Bay Flyers (Singapore, Singapore).
- New York Capitals (New York, USA).
- Olympia Munchen (Munich, Germany).
- Paris Metropole (Paris, France).
- Shanghai Pearl (Shanghai, China).

Some of the planet’s greatest cities are now home to their new Global Premier Football League (GPFL) club. Based in cities spanning the globe, as announced on November 19, 2022, our clubs are now real and begin their individual journeys. Their first burst of life takes the form of their new logos, around which their separate identities will be built.
