The 2023/24 GPFL season had many highlights

The 2023/24 Global Premier Football League (GPFL) campaign, the first of its kind, came to a close on Wednesday July 24, 2024.

It’s been quite the ride as we’ve navigated 38 rounds and nine months of games. Champions have been crowned, icons crafted, and underdog stories written.

That’s what we’d like to think, at any rate.

In reality, we’ve been working away at this project behind the scenes, away from the glare of public scrutiny, building some substance to what previously was just a vague concept.

We had ten league games most weeks, sometimes more. There were a couple of breaks during the season, one in January and one during April for the GPFL Global Cup, which allowed players to represent their region. There was a lot going on for a an extended period of time.

Now, at least, the GPFL has some life. So what’s next?

WHERE LEGENDS WILL GROW

Every superstar was once a dreamer – someone who dared to imagine the impossible.

The Global Premier Football League is now the fertile ground where those dreams can come alive, where raw talent meets unwavering dedication, where moments of brilliance have already etched themselves into history.

And where the founder’s idea can bloom into a full-blown world of its own.

For every young fan who’s ever kicked a ball against a wall, felt their heart race during a penalty shootout, or painted their face in their team’s colors – this can be your arena. Because in this league, legends grow, and every passionate fan will be an integral part of that story.

That’s the elevator pitch.

Developments are already underway for season 2 of the GPFL, which will kick-off later in 2024.
