Why did we choose New York?

One of the great cities, New York’s size, history and reputation meant it was a standout candidate to host a GPFL team. The New York metropolitan area already plays host to the most professional sports teams in the USA’s top five leagues, so it’s well placed to add another to the stable.

NEW YORK

New York City, sometimes referred to as NYC, is the most populous city in the United States. NYC is also the most densely populated major city in the United States.
